It's less well known than the related Anthurium warocqueanum but in our opinion is equally as showy. All plants for sale are grown from seed produced by a friend of ours with the mother plant in Hawaii. It's an absolutely fantastic specimen. Plants for sale are well established seedlings with great roots. Aside from the holotype specimen, there seems to be limited documentation on A. cirinoi from
Anthurium cirinoi is a gorgeous, large growing species. It's less well known than the related Anthurium warocqueanum but in our opinion is equally as showy. All plants for sale are grown from seed produced by a friend of ours with the mother plant in Hawaii. It's an absolutely fantastic specimen.
Plants for sale are well established seedlings with great roots.
Aside from the holotype specimen, there seems to be limited documentation on A. cirinoi from both wild and cultivated specimens. There has been speculation that this parent plant could have some inconsistences with the type description and may be another yet undescribed species altogether. There's also a possibility that the plant may be of hybrid origin; however, after growing these seedlings out, we found a high degree of uniformity that would be inconsistent with a F2 selfing of a plant from hybrid origin. We leave this information here for the buyer to judge. These plants are bound to be large and spectacular.
